Splinters from the Board

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 7, when we will hold a congregational conversation on important issues facing UUCM. A formal business meeting will follow later in September. This year’s agenda will include proposed bylaw changes (including updates to the Committee on Ministry structure and financial account signatories), the election of a Committee on Ministry Chair, and a congregational vote on the anti-apartheid statement related to Israel/Palestine. To ensure everyone is informed, the Board has sent out resources for your review, along with a “straw poll” to gather input ahead of the vote. We encourage all members to participate in these conversations as we shape the direction of our community.
